G7 Kontakt Edition

Item Description
Attention all guitarists! If you’ve been frustrated by the lack of dedicated music software for your instrument, help is at hand. G7 Kontakt Edition is the world’s first notation and tablature program to offer true support for stringed instruments like guitar and bass - acoustic, classical and electric as well as other instruments.

With G7 it’s easy to compose, arrange or simply write out an existing song and then print it, publish it on the Internet and burn it to CD using the new Kontakt sample library from Native Instruments. That's right, now you can play back your songs with real instrument sounds. You can play back notation and tab (even bends, slides, etc.). G7 Kontakt Edition has an integrated sample library containing stunningly realistic guitar, keyboard, drum, and orchestral voices. Whether you need the soft mellow tones of a classical guitar, the harmonically rich, woody sound of an acoustic or the full-on ear-shattering distortion of an electric, the Kontakt sample library has the solution.   Click Here to hear a sample of 3 different guitar types.

Of course, songwriters can create additional parts such as keyboards, drums and other instruments. And you can import any MIDI or ASCII tab file into G7 and learn the fingerings from the on-screen fretboard.

System Requirements

G7 contains both the Windows and Mac version on the same disc.
You do not have to specify which operating system you have when ordering.

Windows - 98SE/ME/2000/XP, 700 mhz processor, 128MB RAM, 80MB drive space.
Macintosh - OS 9.1/9.2/10.2 or later, iMac/G3/G4/G5, 192MB RAM, 80MB drive space.
Recommended - (When using Kontakt Player) 256MB RAM and 400Meg additional drive space.

View Music as Tab
Whether you use the on-screen fretboard, computer keyboard and mouse or a MIDI instrument to input your performance, G7 automatically translates the music into tab in real-time. And once a basic melody is in place, it can be perfected with G7's advanced editing facilities which let you add markings such as bends, slides, hammer-ons, pull-offs and harmonics.

Input chords & solos using the on-screen fretboard
It's easy to play music directly into G7 using the on-screen fretboard. With its familiar appearance, entering a note is as simple as pointing the cursor over the appropriate note and clicking the mouse. To build up a chord, just click more notes on the fretboard. For even more versatility, the fretboard is completely customisable. Choose between six different neck styles (including three different bass guitars) and enlarge or shrink its size to suit the way you work.

And Much More
We've listed just a few of G7's amazing features. If you want a great notation and tab program. G7 is a great choice
