Learn music by copying solos and riffs from CDs, records, tapes or mp3s.
Now the average musician and student can transcribe just like the pros do. With Transkriber software
you can slow down music without changing the pitch.
No single technique can do so much for the aspiring musician as
doing your own transcriptions.
Previous generations of musicians had to use half speed tape recorders and record players which
cause the sound to drop an octave if the music was slowed to half speed. Anything slower than half
speed was not practical at all. Now you can slow the music down as much as you want without
changing the pitch. Even the fastest solos can be transcribed with ease.

It's Easy, just put an audio CD into your CD-ROM drive,
or connect your stereo to the line-in of your sound card, click "record" and you're ready to slow it down.
On screen help is available if needed, tech support is also available by email if needed.
Realtime Slow down
Transkriber is the only software program that has the "realtime" slow down feature.
It slows down the audio immediately without the need to create an
intermediate slowed down file. This means you can even change the speed while you are
playing back. (You don't even have to save the original wave file, but you can if want to,
so you can do the transcription in more than one session.)
Other programs can only slow down audio by creating another wave file
for you at the slowed down speed. This is inconvienent because you have to wait for
several minutes or even much longer before you can hear the slowed down music. There is
usually a loss in sound quality as well. Also, other programs create huge files when
slowing down the music which takes up lots of hard drive space. Transkriber solves all
these problems. It has great sound quality at an affordable price.
Other great features
Phrase selection - Many phrase selection methods allow you to focus on one part of the music at a time. Speed Selection - Choose from a variety of slow down speeds; 3/4, 2/3, 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/8 of the original speed without changing the pitch. Different slow down algorithms - Configure the Transkriber's slow down mechanism to your own taste. Built-in equalizer and filters - Reinforce or remove certain frequency bands from the music so you can better focus on the part you are transcribing. Pitch adjust - Adjust the pitch to match exactly the recording you are using. Built-in pitch generator - Use the pitch generator to identify which note is being played on the recording without the need to go back to your instrument. Key Change - You can change the key of the song with or without changing the speed. Vocal/Lead Elimination - You can eliminate much of the vocals or lead instrument part of a song so you can more easily hear the rhythm parts.
